1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by Compupartz ("we," "our," or "us"), including electronics repair, data recovery, and related services. By using our services or submitting a computer for repair, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services. For questions about these Terms, please contact us before proceeding.
2. Repair Assessments & Fees
We respectfully request you to consider our services first, as we may incur an additional fee for repairing devices that have been repair-attempted. If the device is not fixed, we will apply a surcharge (bench fee) which is communicated before we accept your device.
We kindly request you to provide a visual description prior to your device's repair, as we are not responsible for any malfunctioning or poor performance of your device, including SSD, battery, screen, keyboard, or any other part that may be damaged upon the device's return to life.
3. Cost Estimates & Approvals
We shall inform you of the repair cost prior to the final repair of your devices. Most often quoted prices are estimates and may vary based on diagnosis findings; we therefore request you to ensure that the contact number provided is one that can be easily be reachable. We will obtain your approval before performing work that exceeds the quoted estimate. Complex repairs may require additional labor charges disclosed upfront.
4. Delivery, Storage & Abandonment
Kindly ensure that the delivery of your laptop is arranged, even if it's repaired. We are not liable for any damages after a one-week period, which would cost a storage fee of GH₵ 190.00 monthly.
Devices are considered abandoned if you fail to respond to our communications for 3 consecutive times, or if you fail to arrange payment within 10 days of service completion.
5. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse service in the following circumstances:
- The device contains illegal content or was obtained illegally
- The repair is beyond our technical capabilities or is unsafe to perform
- The customer has violated these Terms in the past
- The customer engages in abusive, threatening, or harassing behavior
6. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first. We commit to working in good faith to resolve issues informally.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any legal action must be brought in the district courts located in Adum, Kumasi.
7. Privacy & Modifications
We take your privacy seriously. Your data will be accessed only to the extent necessary to perform services and securely deleted within 30 days of service completion. For complete details, please review our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.
